ECDT Conference

Conferences organized by the ECDT

We look back at the conferences in 2022 and 2024.

We look back on this year's conference

What an inspiring day! With over 150 participants and 14 interdisciplinary speakers, the conference brought together diverse groups—from healthcare professionals and people with dementia to administrators, students and researchers. Our goal was to connect people to innovate for and with people with dementia, and we are proud to say that we succeeded.

During the well-attended exhibitions of students, PhDs and the work of the Expertise Centre Dementia and Technology, and during the interactive cooperative games on the implementation of warm technology, many valuable exchanges and new connections took place. In addition, we enjoyed inspiring interviews, keynotes and panel discussions on practice-oriented research, and even experienced moments of movement and singing in the room.

Thanks to everyone who made this day so special!

We look back on the conference in 2022

What can AI do for people with dementia? How do we bridge the gap between technology and healthcare? How do we design innovations together with people with dementia and their environment?

That's just a handful of topics covered during DDAI2022.

We look back on the interesting set keynotes who have given us insight into dementia, design and AI. In addition, have workshops taught us a lot in the field of Certification-D, AI and Designing with people with dementia. We were able to end the day festively with Andrew Greenwood's dance session and the announcement of the winners of the Warm Technology Challenge.

Did the conference make a difference in you? Whether it concerns DDAI in specific or the ECDT; don't worry to hear.
