Community

Practical information about how the ECDT tries to make an impact and other socially relevant events.

We can't do it alone

With Warm Technology's positive approach, we strive to support and provide a higher quality of life. We focus on doing this not only for, but especially together with, people with dementia and their environment. That's why it's essential to our mission to work closely with the community.

Social initiatives

Roermond City Swim

The proceeds from this swimming campaign will be donated to the “Samen Bewegen” foundation, which focuses on encouraging people with dementia to exercise.

Community center activities

The ECDT organizes a weekly afternoon program in the Meerpaal and the Klooster for people with dementia and their caregivers, students and children from the neighborhood.

Network initiatives

Networking lunches

In Eindhoven we bring professionals together every two months to exchange knowledge and ideas about innovation, technology and healthcare. Participants include occupational therapists, researchers, innovation advisors and project leaders. Topics such as technological aids and VR for people with dementia are discussed, with immediate follow-up projects such as research by students from Eindhoven University of Technology.
